This is what we're doing.

Features:

  • Completely rehauled the airplane attack system - you are now able to choose your own target, and dive bombers now deal piercing damage making them BRUTALLY effective against light tanks, and generally buffed vs all armored units including ships. I have also added slight variances in damage between models.
  • Fighters and dive bombers can now only fire at enemies in front of them.
  • Dive bombers can now deal fatalities (armor penetration) like all other units with armor piercing attack.
  • Added the ability to tribute shipyards.

Bug Fixes:

  • Alliances in historical mode will no longer be fucked up. Thank god.
  • Fixed conflicting hotkeys for the research facility.
  • Calliope Launchers can no longer target ships(!).
  • I am pretty sure the bug preventing fighters from targeting returning bombers is now resolved.

Balance:

  • Tampered some with the stats for shock damage, flamethrowers should be more aligned toward killing buildings now.
  • Reduced damage of Rocket Barrage by 5 and increased cooldown by 10 seconds.
  • Cruisers are no longer able to target two planes at once, significantly reducing their AA-capabilities.
  • The Stuka and the Val bombers have had their damage increased slightly because of the significance dive bombers had for their respective nations.
  • Increased the armor of all Dive Bombers by 1.
  • The "Reinforced Concrete" upgrade is now split into two levels, for a total of +2 armor. Each level costs 6 research points.
  • Added a port in Trabzon (north eastern Turkey).
  • Increased the speed of Tiger Tanks by 10.
  • Reduced the speed of Sherman Calliopes by 20.
  • Added neutral ships near some of the sea control points.
  • Dive Bombers now deal double damage to ships.
  • Added more bunkers for all nations, to reduce impact of early-game rushes.

What about the Paratroopers features of being stunned for some secs after they land, I'm sure that will fix many of the problems with paratroopers and would add to realism.

Fingolfin you said yesterday you are going gonna release new version yesterday evening and you didn't i'm waited whole thursday and you didn't release it,will you do it tomorrow on friday.. honestly,i hope so
i'm getting bored of waiting please release the version tomorrow or at least say when you will

I think the Fighters should gain some defence against Flak too, since you can't really move them trough enemy territory to sustain an attack or to escort some bombers, maybe you should change the armor of the Fighters to "Heavy", that could fix it, and probably planes will still 3-4 shot eachother, what I'm saying is that Fighters really need more protection against flak so changing the armor to heavy or adding armor (more favourable to change armour to heavy) is not a bad choice at all.

I am terribly sorry about that Marcus, i realzied yesterday was the last day before my girlfriend went to Amsterdam for a week. I am working on the release right now!
